Final Cut Studio 2 on Leopard, Known issues so far...
There had been different responses to the Leopard upgrade, concerning the effect it has on FCS2. One of the main advise (from people who have already "leoparded", is to completely WIPE your harddisk. Install Leopard on a clean disk, then reinstall FCS2. This was mentioned in the Apple discussion's forum. That seems to solve most of the "bugs /crash". However, here are a few that popped up today.
1) Inside FCP6, Master Templates currently don't work. (function that allows you to access Motion template from FCP6). Check this link from Apple.
2) Third-party hardware (Kona) drivers are apparently due for a Leopard update soon.
3) Motion projects no longer preview in the Finder, nor in the new Quick Look -- actually a plus for complex projects as the Finder might hang while trying to render them.
