out of memory
hi :
can anyone tell me why I get an "out of memory' warning when ever I try to render a shot and sometimes quits as well? this has only recently started happening after I added Smoothcam and Color correction filter to the shot. I'm running FCP 6 on a Macpro - 2x2.66 dual and 3gb ram
any help or suggestions most welcome

In final cut pro, under the tools menu from the top, look for function "Render Manager." You might have previous rendered projects eating your memory. Try deleting to free up the space.
